We are delighted to announce that we have received a bronze award by The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) for taking a positive stance towards Reservists who are either existing or prospective employees.
The ERS is run by the Ministry of Defence to recognise employers that pledge their support to the armed forces community.
To honour our commitment, we are now working with the Career Transition Partnership – the Ministry of Defence’s resettlement programme for departing servicemen and women – in order to support service leavers who are looking to enter the private job market.  We recognise that ex-military personnel have a set of transferable skills – from problem solving to teamwork – which can be extremely useful to help us grow our company.
At The Right Fuelcard Company we have a long story of fostering an inclusive workplace culture.  This initiative aligns with other recruiting practices we have in place aimed at providing real jobs for local people from a broad range of backgrounds.  Our employment programme, The Bayford Foundation, has shown how individuals that don’t have the relevant work experience can still succeed in business when given the opportunity and support to develop the right skills.
