Business Director Adam Walsh’s Autumn Statement predictions featured in BDaily

22 November 2016
In the countdown to the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement, the opinions of our Business Director, Adam Walsh, were featured with fellow Yorkshire business leaders on Bdaily magazine.
Adam’s thoughts and recommendations focused on fuel duty, apprenticeship funding and how to instill business confidence.
A cut on fuel duty would be a welcome decision for motorists and businesses alike – especially following the increase of  fuel costs due to a combination of Brexit and the weak pound.
Being the leader of a business that is highly committed to recruiting and developing young talent, Adam is also hoping for more apprenticeships funding to encourage more companies to take on trainees. The success story of our first placement student has proved that just one competent apprentice can make a big difference – and add value to – a small business.
Above all, Adam calls for consistency in decision making from the government to support businesses of all sizes and sectors during this challenging period of uncertainty.
