Shell and BP charge cards

EV charge cards: driving the future

Our new radio frequency identification (RFID) cards, or electric charging cards, allow drivers to pay conveniently at public charging points across the UK. The BP Fuel and Charge and the Shell Fuel and EV cards can also be used when refuelling petrol and diesel vehicles, making them the ideal solution for mixed fleets as all transactions will be displayed on one invoice.

We appreciate that fleets really are looking for greener options, particularly with the future bans on diesel and petrol cars, so we've launched two new fuel and charge options to create even more flexibility for our customers.

What is a charge card for EV charging?

EV charge cards are a simple payment solution for businesses. They work similarly to our current fuel cards. Simply tap your RFID card against a reader to start and end your charging session. This eliminates the need to carry cash and you can avoid using a credit card which may incur costly interest fees.

With access to thousands of charging points and petrol stations, these cards bring unparalleled convenience and sustainability to fleets with electric, petrol and diesel vehicles. That's why, we think we have the best EV charging cards in the UK.

EV charge card features and benefits

Through our close relationship with leading fuel brands, we’re able to offer the UK’s two top electric car charging cards; BP Fuel and Charge, and Shell Fuel and EV.

These cards can be used to pay for EV charging, petrol and diesel. Fleets that have not yet been fully electrified will find this particularly useful as these cards will help them through their transition to electric.

In addition to saving businesses time on admin and providing them with competitive prices, our EV charge cards offer many other benefits.
